medical marijuana a-okay

currently 14 states allow the use of medical marijuana (sorry folks but illinois isn't part of that list). new guidelines have been set so that federal drug agents can no longer pursue patients who use marijuana for medicinal purposes as long as they are in compliance with their respective states' laws.

i think it's great. it will allow prosecutors to go after users who actually "pose a threat to society."

yay or nay?

also, anyone hear about the guy from "big brother" who got arrested for dealing drugs? the winner from last year decided to invest his money into drugs and tried to sell oxycodone pills to someone who was wired. unfortunately, he's not really considered a celebrity so i don't think they'll be going easy on him.

Awesome. I was totally talking to someone about that today. I think it's great. Pot needs to be legal.

That's so stupid. What a waste of money. Too bad he can't buy his freedom.

  3. Finally the government can stop wasting money on prosecuting harmless people who are only trying to improve their quality of life.

yeah, one of my teachers was talking about how IL will probably end up legalizing medical marijuana pretty soon cuz of everything that's happening which i guess is a pretty big change. it's making people open up and look at this in a more open perspective which is pretty cool.

Nope my professor said we're too conservative to ever pull this stuff off. It's all about politics. People don't want to be seen as druggies so they don't condone the stuff even though they don't have any problems with it. Sorry guys.

obama may be president but he doesn't have the power to just go and change the law like that and we all know people aren't going to just like accept marijuana so we're just going to have to suck it up for a while
